Incubators

Efficient use of valuable lab space

The HettCube incubators feature among many other options an advanced touchscreen interface, ensuring intuitive operation with flexible settings and enhanced functionalities.

This design of the HettCube 200, 400 and 600 allows for up to 30% more validated usable space within the same internal dimensions. Moreover, their compact design reduces floor space requirements by up to 50% while maintaining comparable capacity.

If space is limited or samples require personal care and you do not want to do without the high quality, then our smaller device sizes of the HettCube 60 and 120 are the ideal solution.

The HettCube incubator range offers many features and options to facilitate the daily laboratory routine. This saves costs as well as valuable space in the laboratory.

FAQ
What should I know before choosing a refrigerator and incubator?
  • The type of application (certification requirements and vessel type and quantity)
  • The precise temperature requirements for the application
  • The ambient temperature
  • Further information about the installation site (space available in the laboratory)

The HettCube incubators are all equipped with a 4.3 inch touchscreen for intuitive operation and a resistive screen that can also be operated with latex gloves.

You will find the serial number of your HettCube on the product nameplate affixed to the back of the device.

Our HettCubes allow you to choose between:

  • German
  • English
  • French
  • Spanish
  • The interior volume refers to the volume of the refrigerator and incubator, measured for example in cubic meters.
  • The "validated usable interior" is the space where you can be sure that the homogeneity of the temperature is guaranteed.

The HettCube offers more validated usable space than comparable products, thus saving a lot of valuable floor space in the laboratory.

When do I need a refrigerated incubator?

The refrigerated versions of the HettCube are always needed when samples require stable temperatures below 37 °C. The cooling of refrigerated incubators creates optimum sample conditions in non-air-conditioned rooms or if the air-conditioning fails.

A non-refrigerated HettCube operates from 1 °C above room temperature. Accordingly, the lower temperature limit of the HettCube varies with the room temperature in the laboratory. At a stable ambient room temperature of 21 °C, the HettCube will be able to reliably operate in a temperature from 22 °C to 65 °C.

So the non-refrigerated incubator is a more affordable option where- or whenever you can be certain of having a stable room temperature. You should opt for a refrigerated version if room temperatures fluctuate or incubation temperatures are low.

Hettich has developed a special "Holiday Mode" for the HettCube range, specifically for times when you're away and unable to tend the lab. Our video explains exactly how it works.

The sturdy telescopic rails of the Hettich Telescop System (HTS) can be extended horizontally by up to 70 %. This allows the user to easily reach the samples in every corner.

When do I need an incubator with forced convection?

The forced versions of the HettCube 60 and HettCube 120 are particularly suitable for samples with low sensitivity to desiccation and for cultures that require rapid and effective heat generation and heat recovery after the door is opened.

The main advantages of natural convection are gentle temperature control and lower energy consumption.

Due to the lack of air flow, the HettCube 60 and 120 variants with natural convection are particularly suitable for drying-sensitive samples and small volumes.

The small incubators come in two sizes: HettCube 60 (56  liters) and HettCube 120 (112 liters).
