Setting the benchmark in Centrifuge Automation technology
Automated Centrifuges
Since the introduction of the first robotically integrated centrifuges over 25 years ago, Hettich is setting the benchmark in centrifuge automation technology.
We have successfully integrated in most of today’s laboratory automation systems and are recognized globally for the quality, precision and safety of our units. We currently offer three different automationfriendly models – each designed for reliable performance in high-use automation settings.
Rotor positioning accuracy and continuous status communication offer accurate results and long-term reliability. Safety features such as automatic lid-locking, motor/chamber over heating protection, imbalance switch-off and rotor recognition ensure continuous trouble-free operation and safe work environment.
Hettich offers a range of automation-ready centrifuges to expand the capacities of your processing center. Micro centrifuges with horizontal rotors for microliter and HPLC tubes, best for small volumes, offer power and speed in a compact footprint.
Floor models capable of processing up to 200 blood tubes and 24 microtiter plates are commonly used in bio-technology research, and pharmaceutical research industries are ideal for high-throughput laboratories.
Hettich robotic centrifuges are valued by all users for their highly accurate precision, robustness, and reliable 24/7 operation. Their high functionality and durable design based on more than 25 years of experience of designing and building robotic centrifuges makes robotic centrifuges reliable workhorses when it comes to preparing samples.
Safety, reliability, and constancy create confidence in Hettich robotic centrifuges. The device can also be operated like a manual centrifuge if the automation system malfunctions, thus making it possible to process samples manually.
The wide range of accessories means that our robotic centrifuges can be used for a variety of applications in diagnostics and the life science and research sector. Our centrifuges are suitable for use not only in high-throughput clinical chemistry laboratories, but also in research laboratories and pharmaceutical laboratories. Hettich robotics are also used for lesser known niche applications.
Yes, the following centrifuges can also be integrated into an automated system:
- MIKRO 220 Robotic
- ROTINA 380 | 380 R | 380 RC Robotic
- ROTANTA 460 Robotic
- SBS 300 Robotic
